Chuck, Jeff, Pierre, and Seb all went to the same highschool when they were kids. Chuck and Pierre formed a band called Reset. When chuck and pierre started fighting, chuck left and formed a new band with Jeff, called Simple Plan. They got Seb to come in as a guitarist along with Jeff. Then they called in Pierre, who left Reset and became a bassist with SP. David D. then replaced Pierre on Reset. When Pierre wanted to be closer to the crowd, and decided to the lead singer, they got David to come and be bassist.
